We have a fantastic Locum AMHP opportunity based within a Community Mental Health Team in the Oldham, Greater Manchester area. The role is an office based role.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Community AMHP, you will work as part of a community team and you will complete assessments under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • The role involves holding a caseload and completing a mixture of planned and urgent Mental Health Act assessments.

To be considered for the AMHP role:

  • 2-5 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
  • Practising as an AMHP
  • Diploma/Degree in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Evidence of managing with a complex caseload
