Registered Manager - Extra Care - Oxford/GoringAre you an experienced Care Manager / Registered Manager, who’d enjoy managing quality-focused domiciliary care to people to enable them to maintain independence, with the logistical advantage of all your clients and your staff being on-site rather than dispersed across a wide geographic area? If so, Extra Care Management could be the right move for you?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the care service that’s delivered across two ExtraCare schemes in the Oxfordshire area. The housing management is provided by an external housing provider and so your focus is purely on managing the domiciliary care service that’s delivered to the clients within. Each site has it’s own Supervisor and care staff team and you’ll spilt your time between the two, ensuring that a fully compliant, quality-focused service is delivered to all.

The Registered Manager Role

  • You’ll have ultimate responsibility for the safe delivery of care, ensuring that CQC standards are being met and regulatory requirements met.
  • Communicate with clients, their families and healthcare professionals . Conduct quarterly reviews and yearly satisfaction surveys
  • Ensure the accuracy and completion of care plans and risk assessment. Oversee the delivery of training
  • Work with internal partners such as HR, Recruitment Advisor and Quality Manager’s

What you’ll need to be successful in this post…

  • It is absolutely essential that you have experience of managing a CQC regulated care service before - this could be Domiciliary Care, ExtraCare or Care Home.
  • Registered Manager experience is beneficial, but this role would also suit an experience Deputy Manager / Care Manager / Branch Manager who has good understanding of the KLOE’s
  • You’ll be qualified to QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership (or willing to work towards)
  • You’ll need to be a driver with your own vehicle
