Location: Oxfordshire - Hybrid Salary: £80,000 - £85,000Are you ready to take your financial expertise to the next level in a fast growing renewable energy business? We’re looking for an Investments and Financing Manager to join a dynamic, innovative and collaborative team that’s playing a key role in enabling the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy.The role You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models that support investment decisions and debt facilities across a diverse portfolio of energy assets, including battery storage, solar, wind and gas generation. Working within a finance team of 20 and reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll provide the insight and analysis that powers strategic decision making and drives business growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain investor models across a range of energy technologies
  • Develop and manage debt models (portfolio and single-asset)
  • Lead M&A and debt transactions, including:
    • Market sounding and preparation of fundraising materials
    • Transaction structuring and offer development
    • Financial due diligence and document review
    • Liaising with legal and technical advisors
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities via financial intermediaries and developers
  • Support the management of a growing opportunity pipeline
  • Prepare investment papers and board materials for private equity stakeholders
Key Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • A motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and collaborative approach
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical and Excel modelling skills
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Solid grasp of finance/accounting principles
  • Prior experience in financial modelling is essential
  • A genuine interest in and understanding of the energy sector is required
