We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Manager for a permanent position within a thriving not-for-profit. This role requires a professional with a robust understanding of human resources, capable of driving HR initiatives and managing staff relations. Your role will see your supporting multiple sites based across the South, so ability to travel is essential.

Description

The HR manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage the Human Resources team to deliver comprehensive HR service to the organisation.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law.
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
  • Implement training and development programmes.
  • Oversee direct reporting to the Board and budget management.
  • Ensure the HR team's operations align with the organisation's values and mission.

Profile

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as an HR manager or other HR executive role.
  • Proficient knowledge in employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards and an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to travel to sites in Oxfordshire, Gloustershire and Licolnshire
