We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Pharmacist in Surrey working in an NHS hospital setting, with a focus on homecare screening for inpatients.   • Position: Locum Pharmacist – Band 6/7
  • Location: Surrey (Hospital-based)
  • Contract Length: 3-6 months
  • Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
  • Working Days: 3 days per week (Flexible weekdays – please discuss preferred days)
  • Hourly Rate: £23 - £30 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Payment Method: Paid via PAYE Direct Engagement

About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for homecare screening, which involves reviewing patient medications and prescriptions to ensure they are suitable for homecare delivery. This includes checking for potential drug interactions, ensuring the right formulation and dosage for home delivery, and confirming that all homecare prescriptions meet regulatory standards. You will be supporting both inpatient and homecare teams to ensure patients continue to receive safe and effective medication management after discharge.
