Part-Time Outreach PDA Support Assistant

Location: Oxted
Hours: Monday and Tuesdays, 9:15 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: £100 to £110 per day

Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person’s life? We are seeking a dedicated Outreach PDA Support Assistant to support a 10-year-old student with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

This role is based in the pupil’s home and offers a unique opportunity to provide one-on-one, tailored educational support in a nurturing environment. There will also be a dedicated carer that you will be working alongside so you would not be on your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the student in learning through play-based activities.
  • Foster engagement in areas of interest, such as gaming, cooking, and Maths.
  • Create a positive, flexible, and low demand learning atmosphere.
  • Build a strong and trusting relationship to encourage the student's development.

About You:

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • Experience with PDA or additional needs (preferred but not essential).
  • Passionate about working with children and supporting their unique learning journeys.
  • Open to training and eager to develop relevant skills.
