Salary - £40,000 per annum + OT (time x2) + Benefits + Van

Hours - 07:00 - 15:30, 5 days a week

NVQ Level 3 Qualification or above in a related subject REQUIRED

An Electrical and Instrumentation Craftsperson is required to join a company based in West Cumbria. As part of your daily responsibilities, you will repair, maintain, calibrate, and test radiation protection instruments to ensure customer work demands are met. Your work will involve workshop - based component level repair of radiation monitors and radiometric systems to allow for free movement throughout the facility. An element of training will be provided onsite to develop your understanding of the instruments you will be working with. You will also act as a mentor for other team members as required, including apprentices and new entrants to department.

A successful candidate will have experience with electrical/electronic instruments. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 Certification or above in a related discipline and will have been electrical/electronically biased in your past roles. You will have worked in this industry or similar in the past and are knowledgeable about safety requirements needing to be met daily to ensure standards and best practices are implemented on site.
