An astute, pragmatic and capable pair of hands to manage the finance and accounting for our growing business. As a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), you will be a proven leader and comfortable working on site in a fast-moving business where no 2 days are the same. You will have previously been part of a growing business where you helped improve processes and controls and improve visibility on business performance. Experience in online retail and or manufacturing would be a distinct advantage. What can I expect to be doing?As part of the SLT, the role will provide leadership and guidance to a small accounts team whilst supporting the owner’s ambitious growth plans with financial analysis and improved reporting and controls.The role requires someone who can be hands-on but also capable stepping back and supporting strategic decisions. With a healthy balance sheet and working capital, you won’t be constantly forecasting cash, thus freeing up time to focus on more interesting things. You will be experienced in:

Producing/ reviewing monthly management accounts
Year end duties
Development of KPIs, tracking margins, returns, top spend customers etc
Budgeting and forecasting
Overseeing transactional finance and payroll
Stock and working capital management
Working closely with the SLT on business strategy and planning
Business partnering with operational stakeholders across manufacturing, product design, dispatch etc
