As a Sales Specialist you will:

  • Build strong and positive relationships with customers
  • Build and document knowledge about the customer business
  • Prepare customer quotations for Power Generation customer sales via the software system and Salesforce IPad Application
  • Carry out full valuations on any Power Generation part exchanges
  • To carry out full machine demonstrations and installations on customer site
  • Increase the company's Power Generation sales and profitability in line with objectives
  • Meet and exceed customer service expectations
  • Establish and maintain good levels of communication within and outside the business
  • Complete all administration accurately and in a timely manner
  • Appropriate reporting to management
  • Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy

The Sales Specialist will have:

  • Proven track record of sales within the construction sector or similar industry
  • Excellent commercial awareness and customer problem solving
  • Ability to follow your customer's buying decisions and needs
  • Proven track record of customer sales call planning and forecasting
  • Skills in sales questioning for successful outcomes
  • Proven track record of consultative selling techniques
  • You will be quality focused, sincere, reliable and trustworthy
  • A full driving license - clean with a good driving record
  • Lots of motivation, with a professional positive attitude
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems is extremely desirable
