Hampton College is an established, successful, all-through school, which formed its own multi-academy trust (Hampton Academies Trust - HAT) in 2014. The Trust is also the education provider for the neighbouring secondary school, Hampton Gardens School and Hampton Lakes Primary School, which opened in September 2019. In 2020, Dogsthorpe Infant School joined our trust. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.

ampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housing being added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

We are currently looking for an Administration Assistant to administer trips and visits for the Secondary Phase including arranging transport and making trip bookings in liaison with the relevant member of staff. You will also undertake a variety of admin-based duties to support the operational requirements of the school, providing timely and effective administrative support within the Secondary Phase’s main admin office. Please refer to the job description for more details.

You will also provide ad-hoc reception cover as required, which will involve answering queries in person and by phone and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.

We are looking for a strong administrator who has a high level of accuracy and a good eye for detail. You will be a team player with a flexible approach and a 'can do’ attitude and be willing to undertake a variety of duties as requested by the Administration Team Leader. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook is essential, along with the ability to work quickly and effectively with various systems.

This is a permanent position of 30 hours per week and is for term time plus 3 INSET training days.

Working Hours:

30 hours per week, term time plus 3 INSET training days

10:00am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary:

Administration Assistant (Grade 5)

Full-time salary (52 weeks) from £23,500 to £24,294 per annum

Term-time salary (30hrs per week/term time plus 3 days) from £16,150 to £16,695 per annum
