Emissions Certification Engineer 12 Month Contract - INSIDE IR35 £27.27 - £28.33 per hour Hybrid - 3 days a week in Peterborough We are looking to speak with people with emission certification experience to fill a key role within one of our global engineering clients. Responsibilities:

  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of engine emissions certification requirements, the associated legal obligations and business processes
  • Coach different business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely execution of certification work streams
  • Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request, through certificate received, to emissions label implementation
  • Maintaining owned emissions certificates and associated labels through life of production
  • Working with and nurturing relationships with global governmental agency representatives

Skills Required:

  • Experience in obtaining engine emissions certification
  • An engineering or legal education / background / experience
  • A passion for doing things right and to a high standard
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse local and international teams
  • Ability and interest in digesting regulatory materials
  • Confident and effective communicator - able to articulate our focus on compliance, and to challenge the status quo where necessary, to establish the facts.
  • Unrestricted passport with the ability to travel (occasionally) internationally
