Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planner to join our team in Pershore. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing transport routes and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule transport routes and deliveries.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor transport costs and ensure budget adherence.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
- Proven experience in a transport planning role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in transport planning software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
