Our client is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee and manage all financial functions and activities within the organisation. The ideal candidate will exhibit robust financial expertise, strategic and analytical thinking, and outstanding interpersonal skills, ensuring effective leadership of the small finance team.
The responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse financial data, prepare comprehensive reports, and offer strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the budgeting process, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and results.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments and accurate income reconciliation.
- Handle monthly VAT returns and compliance.
- Manage intercompany transactions efficiently.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.
- Administer weekly and monthly payroll processes.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
The candidate:
- Minimum of AAT Level 4 preferred
- Proven expertise in financial services and a strong grasp of financial planning principles.
- Excellent leadership skills, adept at motivating teams.
- Proficient in financial software, advanced MS Excel (especially Xero), with exceptional analytical abilities.
