Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full-time - Easter Start
Salary: £90 per day

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role extends beyond academics. You’ll play a crucial part in supporting children with diverse learning needs, including those with medical requirements. Here’s what the role entails:
- Personalised Support:
- Offer 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to implement individualized care plans for children with specific medical conditions.
- Collaboration and Planning:
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities.
- Support pupils during transitions and daily routines, ensuring their medical needs are met.
- Emotional Well-being and Social Skills:
- Help pupils regulate their behaviour and emotions.
- Encourage positive interactions, both academically and socially.
- Assessment and Communication:
- Contribute to formal SEND assessments, considering medical aspects.
- Share valuable insights with families and home schools, fostering a holistic approach to each child’s well-being.
- Swift Return to Education:
- Our goal is to facilitate a swift return to long-term education settings, even for children with complex medical needs.
- Teamwork and Support:
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants, teachers, and support staff.

Requirements:
