Nurture Teacher (SEN & SEMH)- Wakefield Special School

  • ASAP start (January 2025)

We're current recruiting on behalf of a Special School in Wakefield, Pontefract WF7 who are looking for a full-time Nurture Teacher. This school caters for children aged 9 - 16 years with an Education, Health and Care Plan for Profound/Severe Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

This is to cover a vacancy in school until the earliest July but more than likely until the end of the academic year and beyond. This is a warm and welcoming Special School that caters for 100 children across the Primary and Secondary age range and the school are looking for a confident and passionate Teacher who is able to start early in January 2025.

Successful applications will have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • SEN & SEMH teaching experience
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability from January 2025
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
