Legal Support Officer - Welsh Local Authority

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Support Officer to join the Planning & Environment Team within the Legal & Democratic Services department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a legal services environment, assisting with legal casework and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and prepare legal notices using standard templates based on instructions from the Traffic Team.

  • Assist in the processing of road traffic orders, supporting the Legal Assistant.

  • Process claims under the Part 1 Land Compensation Act 1971, ensuring accurate case management and compliance with payment procedures.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Planning & Environment team.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to efficient case management.
