As the HR Advisor, you’ll benefit from:
- Holidays: 23 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
- Hybrid Working: 1-2 days per week from home
- A role with real purpose: be a part of a company that values HR and invests in its people
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)
As the HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Being a trusted HR partner for employees and managers, offering guidance on policies, best practices, and employment law
- Supporting recruitment efforts, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires
- Championing employee wellbeing, assisting with absence management, occupational health referrals, and wellbeing initiatives
- Guiding managers through employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance reviews
- Ensuring HR systems and data are up to date, maintaining accurate records and generating useful insights
- Staying ahead of HR trends and legislation, keeping policies compliant and continuously improving processes
As the HR Advisor, your skills and experience will include:
- HR experience particularly in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
- Being a natural people person, someone who builds relationships with empathy, fairness, and professionalism
- Good organisation, ensuring HR processes run efficiently and accurately
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to apply it practically
- Being a proactive problem-solver and always looking for ways to improve processes to support the business
- A HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3 or above) is preferred but not essential
