We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Stock Manager to join our expanding company in a full-time, permanent position. This new role is crucial as we aim to implement new systems and oversee all aspects of procurement and stock management. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to manage procurement functions effectively and drive continuous improvement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the procurement function.
  • Monitor and check prices paid for materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and influence their performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements in procurement processes and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance and communicate any issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare and provide monthly reports on procurement savings and efficiencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Procurement & Stock Manager role.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Initiative-taking and flexible work ethic.
