We are working with numerous SEN schools in Bournemouth/Christchurch and Poole. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with children and eager to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting.

  • Daily Rate: 85 per day
  • Location: Bournemouth/Christchurch/Poole
  • Contract Type: Mon - Friday, 09:00am - 15:30pm
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: Long Term

The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with Autism, Speech Language and Communication difficulties.
  • Previous experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.

The role will consist of:

  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student - teacher rapport.
