Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Customer Service professional with a background in manufacturing, who thrives in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise to a diverse cultural range of global clients.
- Input technical details into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents within the sales process, identifying additional sales opportunities with existing customers.
- Collaborate with the global business development team to recommend products and services that meet customers' requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the SBU and competitors' products and/or services.
- Manage customer meetings effectively, including taking and issuing minutes to ensure all requirements are captured and communicated.
- Handle bid clarifications through to completion, ensuring they are closed out prior to bid completion and communicated to both internal and external teams.
- Manage Terms and Conditions discussions with the nominated legal representative from FFL.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing environment;
- Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work with figures and calculations.
- Confidence in reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience using SAP is an advantage.
