Site HR Administrative Assistant; Portsmouth; 6 month Fixed Term Contract , Inside IR35 We currently have a requirement for an onsite HR Administrator to work with our client in the PO3 area of Portsmouth. The HR Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the HR team by providing efficient administrative support and ensuring smooth HR operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in HR while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files. Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding for new hires. Support the preparation of HR documents such as contracts, offer letters, and employee handbooks. Handle day-to-day HR inquiries from employees, directing them to appropriate team members when necessary. Monitor employee absence, holidays, and timekeeping records. Coordinate and schedule training sessions, inductions, and other HR-related events. Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations by updating policies and practices. Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to creating a positive work environment. Generate reports and provide data analysis for HR metrics as needed. Assist monthly Payroll Change Information Process Skills and Experience Skills and Qualifications Previous administrative experience (HR experience is advantageous but not essential). Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not required.
