Production Supervisor required to work for a specialist Electronics manufacturing business based near Portsmouth. You will be an experienced and hands on supervisor who is used to managing a small team of production and assembly operatives. Working predominantly within the electronics industry you will ideally have a knowledge of electro mechanical assembly environments and products.

Day to day you will be hands on within the team supporting in the assembly of electronic products shipped worldwide. We are looking for a skilled team leader who has a proven knowledge or background ideally within electronics, reading schematic drawings, following build sheets and supporting with the packaging and dispatch to customers.

Key skills:

- Supervising a team of 20+ operators
- Distribution of jobs to operators based on Production Plan
- Following up on timings of jobs
- Updating Production Plan and Capacity Planner
- Holding weekly team meetings
- Working closely with Production Manager on a day-to-day basis
- Attendance of Production meetings and providing updates to Production Manager
- Customer contact on queries
- Excellent Communications skills
- Good attention to details
- IPC-620 Standards preferable

Ideally A level qualification/HNC/equivalent or alternatively previous experience in this role.
