General Services Manager - Portsmouth
Location: Portsmouth (with occasional travel)
SRG is seeking an experienced General Services Manager to support a leading organization in the aerospace sector. This role will be responsible for managing essential facility services, including Cleaning, Catering, Grounds Maintenance, and Office Services, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and compliance with stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of General Services, ensuring compliance, service quality, and adherence to site standards.
- Manage relationships with service providers, monitoring performance against contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
- Support budget management, including operational expenditure targets, risk management, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Administer purchase orders, requisitions, and invoicing processes.
- Attend stakeholder meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and implement necessary actions.
- Contribute to transnational activities, supporting the development and execution of strategic objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with procurement, purchasing, and tender processes is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Background in Facilities Management or a related field is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Eligibility to obtain UK SC Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
