We are on the lookout for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this very-well established company based in the local area.

This role is crucial for expanding the client base in London and the Home Counties.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the commercial cleaning industry and be adept at driving business growth.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities in key sectors and markets.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients within the commercial cleaning industry.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, striving to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to align our services with their needs.
  • Manage the tendering process, including site visits, presentations, and documentation.
  • Provide sales activity reports, pipeline status, sales forecasts, and progress updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team on Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and tender documents.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to promote our services and objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales success within the commercial cleaning industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial cleaning services, equipment, and best practices.
  • Experience with online bid portals and tender preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to large businesses and public sector organisations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
