Your new company Hays Education are working with secondary schools across the Wirral who are seeking qualified teaching assistants for permanent, long term and day-to-day bookings.Your new role In your new role, you will be supporting the class teacher in KS3 or KS4 classes to deliver the curriculum effectively. You will work 1:1 with SEN pupils and also take group work sessions outside the classroom. There are both long-term and day-to-day positions available, depending on your preference.What you'll need to succeed To be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1/2/3)
- 1+ years experience working with children/within a school
- Confident supporting students with maths and English amongst other subjects
- Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Strong relationship building skills
