Waking Nights Support Worker

Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available:

Position:          Waking Nights Support Worker

Location:         Wirral  

Rate:                Negotiable (depending on experience)

Length:            6- 8 Weeks

Hours:              38.5 per week

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the safety and security of residents throughout the night
  • Monitor Service User’s welfare, responding to any issues, incidents, or distress appropriately
  • Act as a first point of contact for residents needing support, advice, or reassurance
  • Follow safeguarding procedures, reporting concerns to relevant staff or external agencies as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents, concerns, and support provided
  • Conduct regular checks on the property, ensuring it remains safe and secure
  • Offer emotional support, signposting residents to appropriate services when needed
  • Some lone working may be required

Essential Criteria:

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (Adult & Child)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
