About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist / Stand alone Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of their payroll processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with relevant laws, and providing support to employees on payroll-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage payroll processes, including wage calculations, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Maintain accuracy and security of payroll data.
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and external agencies on tax-related matters.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Stay updated with payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Support audits with necessary documentation and information.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing payroll processes and systems.
  • Experience with Cascade software is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to explain complex payroll information clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
