I am currently supporting a successful and growing, values-driven business based in Preston, in their search for a HR Advisor.

Working as part of a broader HR team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains top talent. You will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance, fostering a positive work environment.

Below is an overview of some of the things you will take a lead on:

  • Employee Relations: Providing expert advice and support to managers and employees on all HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and assisting in the development and implementation of new policies as needed
  • Learning and Development: Identifying learning needs and advising on appropriate learning solutions
  • HR Administration: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, managing the HR system
  • Reward and Benefits: Liaising with internal employees and external providers on employee benefits and payroll queries
  • HR Projects: Participating in HR projects and initiatives to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement

The successful candidate will have a real bredth of HR experience and a track record of building up effective working relationships with key stakeholders. It is essential for this role that you are passionate about HR and are able to demonstrate your own CPD.
