Accounts Assistant / Payroll Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant / Payroll Administrator to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their career in finance and payroll, with study support and clear progression routes available

Day to Day of the role:

  • Administer the weekly payroll using simple accounts software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Cross-check hours worked against time off forms, sickness forms, and overtime sheets.
  • Handle phone inquiries from outside callers and liaise with the management team on payroll-related queries.
  • Assist in the administration of weekly production reporting, analysing anomalies to aid in performance management.
  • Perform general administration duties and collaborate with the team to maintain up-to-date accounts.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand the purpose and completion process of various reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in payroll administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using accounts software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
