About the role:
We are looking for a confident and organised individual, with experience in Key Account Management to become a Key Account Manager for our Environmental Products Division. This position requires you to work a mixture of field based and office based and with a wide range of market sectors including Retail, Leisure, Petrol, Fast Food and Facilities Management Companies
The role will be to manage key accounts via their Head Office. These accounts will be organisations with multiple outlets and therefore a high level of demand for our products. The role will be to develop sales to these existing customers by broadening the range of products they buy from us, including designing bespoke products for them
This position covers a large geographical territory across the North of England and Scotland. Ideally, we would like you to be located in Lancashire or Greater Manchester (approximately one hour's drive of Blackpool)

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Following up and conversion of sales enquiries produced from our extensive marketing programme and also self-generated by the Key Account Manager
- Working both in the field and from Glasdon UK Ltd offices to maintain contact with existing key accounts at head office level to develop their accounts
- Prospecting current non-user key accounts
- We manufacture a high-quality product, so the best sales aid is the product itself, which you will demonstrate in person or online to customers
- Be inquisitive to identify customers' needs and have an ability to offer informed solutions
- Assist in developing new concepts and bringing new products to market
- Be a credible and trusted source of industry and product information for customers
- Interpret sales reports and identify market and product opportunities
- Participate in team sales meetings and share product / market knowledge
- Visit trade shows and exhibitions to introduce and showcase our product range
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Professional with a strong Commercial Awareness
- Experience within sales, account management, business development and/or customer support roles
- Familiar with selling products online and/or face to face via demonstration and/or presentation, with the ability to outline features and benefits
- Knowledge of efficient planning and management of a large geographical territory
- A genuine interest towards developing a career in account management
- A high level of self-motivation and determination to achieve goals and targets
- Good level of IT Literacy
- Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
- Charismatic and passionate with a stable career background
- Educated to A-Levels and/or University Degree or equivalent (desirable)
- Full, Clean UK driving licence

Terms and Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (subject to the needs of the role)
- 30-minute lunch break
- Monthly Pay in arrears by the 28th day of each month
