Position: Customer Service Executive

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

Location: Reading / Fully Office-Based

My  client is a leading provider of printed advertisements and graphics, specializing in retail environments, architectural spaces like hospitals, and even delivery vans. With a strong base of repeat customers, they are known for their high-quality graphics and exceptional service.

Due to a recent restructuring, this  team is looking for a new member who can bring a fresh burst of enthusiasm and fit seamlessly into their dynamic culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frontline Customer Service: Handle inquiries, check and update orders, and manage dispatch dates keeping customers updated through the process.
  • Project oversight: Take briefs, provide quotes, and act as the middle person between the customer and the production team.
  • Communication: Know when to communicate and when to listen, demonstrating emotional intelligence in all interactions.
  • Gatekeeping: Manage external calls from suppliers, redirect inquiries, and act as a gatekeeper unless the call is sales related.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background: Experience in industries such as car leasing, manufacturing, or a similar field. Must have excellent phone call etiquette and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Personality: High energy, mature, and experienced. Able to pick up the phone with personality and handle inquiries with a positive attitude.
  • Skills: Strong customer service awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to fit into a high-energy team culture.
