Programme Manager - Cyber Security - Immediate Start - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid working - Reading/Havant
My client is a large Reading based company, and they are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join their team, and lead major investment programme that is in the early stages of delivery. Comprising over 40 investment lines with a budget of £70m, this programme will deliver a significant step change in capability across my client's technical environment leveraging capability from the market, exploiting value from existing internal initiatives and driving delivery of specific investment lines.

Business Knowledge
- Ability to work in a technically or organisationally complex environment
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation
- Ability to provide information in a logical and consistent manner
- Ability to work in environments that are undergoing change, working in an iterative and adaptive manner
- In-depth understanding of IT products, services and systems
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
- Previous experience working on programme level and exposure to multi year, multi million pound complex programmes
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Cyber and even hands on experience of programme managing Cyber programmes
- Relevant practitioner qualification required; degree level education desired
- Ideally skilled in a number of project management / change management approaches, in particular Agile delivery, as well as the likes of MSP, Prince2, APM and PMP
- Experience in applying various waterfall (e.g. MSP, Prince2, APM, PMP) and Agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture across different levels of portfolio
In return, my client is offering up to £800/day via umbrella (there is flexibility for the right candidate), and an initial 6 month contract with scope to extend.
