Plant Manager Summary:

  • My client, a leading Waste & Recycling company are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to join the team. The Plant Manager will be responsible for supervising yard operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards in production environments.

Responsibilities of Plant Manager:

  • Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
  • Supervise and manage staff to maintain high standards
  • Coordinate with the Manager on staffing and operational issues
  • Inspect and maintain machinery, ensuring timely repairs
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and inventory
  • Oversee loading and unloading of materials
  • Enforce safety protocols for all staff
  • Suggest improvements for operational efficiency
  • Secure the facility and manage stock safety

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience of being hands on in an engineering role
  • Proven record in managing staff and ensuring efficient operations
  • Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance
  • Computer literate
