About the client

Our client is a sub-contractor who operate in high volume production. They supply all over the world and manufacture batches up to 10,000. A growing company who are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their staff.

As a Quality Engineer your duties will include:

• Goods in / out inspection
• Completing FAIR / PPAP reports
• Set gauging for new jobs
• In house calibration of micrometers, verniers, gap and screw thread gauges
• Analysis of data
• Verify first offs to drawings, gauges and work orders

The idea candidate for this Quality Engineer will have:

• Experience working in a production / mechanical industry
• Previously completed FAIR / PPAP reports
• Used verniers, micrometers and gauges
• Worked in high volume manufacturing sites
• Knowledge of project work, 8D knowledge, PPAP and associated documents
• Completed internal audits

As a Quality Engineer you will work:

• Monday – Friday
• 8.30am – 5.30pm, 4pm finish on Fridays
• Up to £20 per hour depending on experience
