Finance Manager
Permanent Position
Location: Redditch (Office-Based)
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 (depending on experience)

We are partnering with a well-established organization seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join their team. This role involves leading a finance team of 4-5 people and providing support to the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a finance team of 4-5 individuals, ensuring efficient operation and achievement of team goals.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of the General Ledger and month-end processes.
  • Supervise payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and profit & loss cost accounting.
  • Manage month-end closure, ensuring financial statements are prepared up to trial balance.
  • Handle additional finance duties as required by the business.
  • Provide support to the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in managing a finance team and meeting department targets and deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge across all areas of finance, including AP, AR, month-end procedures, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with NetSuite would be highly advantageous.
  • A finance qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Comfortable with an office-based role (5 days per week) as this position is not hybrid.
  • Strong ability to meet company financial deadlines and ensure accuracy.
