Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This part-time, temporary position is ideal for someone who desires flexible working hours and has experience in Credit Control and purchase ledger.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and maintain efficient account records.
  • Utilise Sage 200 software to handle financial transactions (experience with Sage 200 is advantageous).
  • Perform credit control and manage the purchase ledger effectively.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in financial audits.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Credit Control and purchase Ledger.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 200 software is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts efficiently and accurately.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
