An exciting Temporary opportunity as a Bursary Support Administrator has arisen to work for our client who are a successful college group based at their Redhill/Croydon site. The purpose of this role is to provide an effective administrative and secretarial service to support the finance team.
Please note - successful applicants must undertake a full DBS check (criminal records check) and provide full five-year referencing.
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Location: Redhill/Croydon
Start: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5pm
What will your working week be like
- Creating and managing student funding records, from application through to completion.
- Accurate data entry to ensure all information is up-to-date and compliant with statutory obligations.
- Maintaining and processing student funding data with precision and attention to detail.
- Providing front-facing support to students, parents, and staff, ensuring a professional and helpful service.
- Collaborating with curriculum departments to address bursary-related matters effectively.
- Raising purchase orders (POs) and managing the distribution of equipment and uniforms.
Who will suit this role?
- Ideally DBS checked, however this can be carried out by the employer - so not essential requirement
- Strong MS Word & Excel experience
- Someone with strong attention to detail.
- Confident in analysing financial data and calculations.
- Proficient in Maths and English.
- Familiarity with student records systems (training provided if needed).
- Comfortable communicating at all levels via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
