Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Returns Co-ordinator to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. This role involves handling both physical and administrative tasks related to the receiving, sorting, and dis-positioning of returned service parts and equipment, while maintaining detailed records.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving returns into the spare parts warehouse and inventory management system
  • Unpacking and checking returns against delivery paperwork - inspecting serial numbers, part numbers, nonconformity and RMA numbers
  • Sorting returns into categories for repair, quality analysis, recycling, or scrap
  • Dis-positioning returns according to defined categories and coordinating with repair centres and the quality department
  • Moving materials using lifting gear or a forklift/bendi truck
  • Picking and packing parts for delivery or pickup
  • Loading and occasionally delivering orders
  • Performing warehouse inventory control using a warehouse scanner or computer
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork records of returns, repairs, recycling, and scrap
  • Collaborating closely with RMA coordinators, the parts warehouse team, and repair centres


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a warehouse/stores environment, including goods inward, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation
  • Familiarity with a computerised stock management system and general computer/software usage
  • Methodical and organised with great attention to detail
  • Ability to integrate well into an established team, providing support and assistance to colleagues
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is advantageous
