- Manage a portfolio of residential properties.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant housing laws and regulations, particularly focusing on AST agreements.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and renovations in collaboration with external contractors.
- Implement preventative maintenance strategies to ensure the longevity of the properties.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing queries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with lease agreements and address any issues proactively.
- Administer tenancy renewals, and terminations of AST agreements.
- Manage requests for changes of occupancy, including reference checks and amendments to ASTs.
- Ensure rent reviews, follow-up Right-to-Rent checks, and deposit protection requirements are met.
- Oversee the timely collection of rents and handle arrears management effectively.
- Stay abreast of relevant housing laws and regulations, ensuring all properties comply with the legal requirements.
- Proven experience in property management, particularly with AST agreements.
- Strong knowledge of residential property laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
