Job: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Rickmansworth

Contract: Term time only, Mon to Fri 08:30 to 15:30

Your role will be to motivate, support and encourage pupils within your remit.

The role will give you experience supporting students with various learning needs and mental health disorders. Working within a school as a Graduate Teaching Assistant is an excellent way to start a career within education.

The role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant consist of;

  • Supporting primary aged students. Some of these students will have EHCPs
  • Dealing with behaviour
  • A real focus on holistic techniques to gain engagement
  • Positive engagement, giving the children a sense of acceptance, talking therapy will not always work here so different approaches required
