Elevation Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a precision engineering company in Ripley to recruit a Vertical Borer to join their team.

Location: RipleySalary: £34,415.16 - £40,884.48Shift: Day shifts (early finish on Fridays)Overtime available

Role:Skilled Vertical Borer working on low-volume, complex components, primarily for the UK defence industry.Responsibilities:

Machining complex parts to strict quality standards
Programming, setting, and operating machines, including proving new programmes
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping
Ensuring adherence to route cards
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using workshop measuring equipment

Requirements:

Level 3 Apprenticeship (or higher) in a relevant discipline
Experience in a precision machining environment
Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens controls
