Helpdesk Support Technician

Our client is an established giftware company based in Ripon, North Yorkshire. They are currently recruiting a Helpdesk Support Technician to provide technical support to mainly internal users.

Helpdesk Support Technician - Key Duties

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT technical support to users.
  • Administer and support the internal helpdesk system.
  • Provide advice and support to other IT team and wider business.
  • Be responsible for IT stock and equipment, its storage and disposal.

Helpdesk Support Technician - Candidate

  • Experienced providing both 1st and 2nd line IT support to users, is ideal.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft desktop system and applications.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, Servers would be useful.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, peripherals and anti-virus.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication.
  • Able to organise, prioritise and manage workload effectively.

The Helpdesk Support Technician position is offering £25,000 - £28,000 basic salary plus great benefits! This is a full-time, permanent position, based on site at our client’s office in Ripon, North Yorkshire.
