The School and Role
A specialist school in Rochdale are looking for an SEMH Teacher dedicated to enriching children's learning and life experiences.
The SEMH Teacher role will involve implementing the National Curriculum and responding to the pastoral needs of the pupils in a caring and empathetic manner. They have a supportive staff team who effectively share expertise, skills and knowledge and promote an ethos of disciplined behaviour to ensure effective learning.

Requirements
The desired SEMH Teacher will:
- Possess the desire to develop and deliver an adapted curriculum suited to excluded pupils and those at risk of exclusion.
- Understand the communication skills required to teach children with barriers to learning and who may be disengaged with education.
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to inclusive education practices and ensuring equal opportunities for all students regardless of their background.
