Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Support Worker to work across their service for vulnerable women affected by domestic violence.

Responsibilities of the Domestic Violence Support Worker:

  • Building strong relationships with women affected by domestic violence
  • Working in partnership and collaborating with partners, stakeholders and agencies
  • Supporting individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages
  • Providing interventions to combat disadvantages
  • Capturing and reporting interventions provided on the data system
  • Reporting on the impact of the support provided
  • Assisting to raise awareness of the project and other campaigns to promote the organisation
  • Deliver and develop in house training around the project
  • Actively Engaging clients and promote involvement in the service

Essential Criteria of the Domestic Violence Support Worker:

  • UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working with vulnerable client groups
