Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Support Worker to work across their service for vulnerable women affected by domestic violence.
Responsibilities of the Domestic Violence Support Worker:
- Building strong relationships with women affected by domestic violence
- Working in partnership and collaborating with partners, stakeholders and agencies
- Supporting individuals experiencing multiple disadvantages
- Providing interventions to combat disadvantages
- Capturing and reporting interventions provided on the data system
- Reporting on the impact of the support provided
- Assisting to raise awareness of the project and other campaigns to promote the organisation
- Deliver and develop in house training around the project
- Actively Engaging clients and promote involvement in the service
Essential Criteria of the Domestic Violence Support Worker:
- UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working with vulnerable client groups
