Assembly Engineer - CNC Machinery

Location:Romford, Greater London

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler of Precision Multi-Axis Machinery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly including associated control cabling, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble complex multi-axis machinery components with high precision and accuracy.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.

Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all components meet stringent standards.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in precision engineering or a related field.

Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.Preferably also be able to read and understand electronic schematics, use basic test equipment, solder neatly, and be able to perform basic fault-finding.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are a plus.
