Job Title: Contracts ManagerLocation: East London/Essex (Office) & London (Sites)Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Competitive Package (includes car allowance, private medical cover, discretionary bonus, travel expenses, and 22 days' holiday + bank holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee £40 million worth of social housing residential new build and refurbishment projects
- Manage and support project and site managers, ensuring smooth delivery across all sites
- Report to the Operations Manager, providing regular updates on project progress, budgets, and timelines
- Split time between office-based work (30%) and site management (70%)
- Ensure all projects meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control
- Conduct regular site visits, quality inspections, and safety audits
- Mentor and develop junior managers, ensuring team performance and growth
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in both new build and refurbishment projects
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large-scale residential projects
