An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to work alongside an established Mortgage Advisor, where in 2023, 2 Mortgage Advisors banked £360k, if the workload was split equally, potential earnings are £180,000.
More about the Role
- Due to an internal move, a flagship estate agency office in Harold Wood, requires an experienced and passionate Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join our client in the number 1 branch nationally in Harold Wood. Working closely with the financial services focused team, the successful Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker working in the branch will receive 10-15 new mortgage leads a week.
- As well as receiving new hot mortgage leads daily, as an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, you will have full unlimited access to the branches existing client base, where you can offer a remortgage service.
- In the Harold Wood area, on average over 25 properties are sold per month in the local area, with an average property size of £380k, however, there are properties for sale of up to £1m.
- This is a flagship estate agency branch in Hardold Wood, Essex, and in 2023, with 2 experienced mortgage advisors banked over £360k, and with the very generous commission structure, the earnings potential of over £180k.
- Our client also offers hundreds of mortgage products to enable you to source the correct mortgage to suit the clients own individual needs, but as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker working in the Harold Wood branch, you will have access to 5 life providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- For this excellent and very rare opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker in the Harold Wood area, the full CeMAP qualification or equivalent must have been attained, along with at least 18 months experience in offering mortgage advice.
- Applications will be considered from bank-based mortgage advisors, however, whole of market mortgage knowledge is preferable.
- Experience in being pro-active and contacting an existing client base offering a review of their current mortgage and protection business would be an advantage.
- Along with the relevant mortgage qualification and experience, a clean credit history, no criminal convictions, a full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to the Harold Wood office every day is a must.

- Competitive salary of £27,000 - £31,000 basic salary including car allowance (dependent on experience)
