Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Essex / East LondonSalary: £70,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Travel Expenses + Private Healthcare + Discretionary Bonus

A well-established main contractor with a £50m turnover is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Specialising in public buildings, commercial, and social housing projects, the contractor works with local authorities, social housing providers, private landlords, and developers across the residential and hospitality sectors.

The successful candidate will join a commercial team of 10, including Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and Buyers. This role offers excellent progression opportunities and the potential to earn a discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a variety of main contracting projects
  • Managing budgets, costs, and financial reporting
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery within budget
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts, variations, and valuations
  • Advising on contractual claims and disputes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing multiple construction projects
  • Strong IT and communication skills
  • Experience with public, commercial, and social housing projects
