Finance Manager (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Annual Salary: £35,000 - £40,000Location: Near Ledbury, candidates must be able to drive to get to location.Job Type: Fixed-term (March 2025 - March 2026)Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Tasks:

Performing daily bank reconciliations.
Handling corporate bank accounts.
Conducting weekly runs.
Creating and analysing management accounts.
Developing budgets and forecasts.
Overseeing payment processes and managing cash flow.
Liaising with financial institutions, contractors, vendors, accountants, and HMRC.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Supervising existing procedures.
Supporting financial decision-making.
Conducting in-depth cost analysis.

Key skills

Proficiency in Xero is essential.
Experience with accounting and business management systems.
Experience in finance management is desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Basic understanding of personal and corporate tax.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage workload independently.
